The way that you score more goals is you have to shoot the puck.

You have to shoot it with frequency.

I don't care where it's from, the quality of it, but pucks have to get to the paint.

And the caps have a refusal.

I don't know if this is the coaching staff saying, well, you need high danger, so don't shoot it,

don't waste a shot.

But we've got people all around the league talking about how great the goaltending is with

the Carolina Hurricanes, the first game, the Capitals only shot the puck

14 times on net, 21, 21, 21 over the next three games.

They've been doubled up or tripled up in some cases in some of these games.

The shot attempts are almost doubled.
