I want to spend the last couple of minutes, the last seven or eight minutes, talking to my friend

Alan Dershowitz.

Last time I spoke to Alan, I was in the gym crying because his son had passed away.

And while everybody knows, of course, the tragedy that Alan went through about a week and a half ago,

he had to fly back from Israel early.

And him and his close for very,

some were very close. They traveled the world together and, you know, the whole thing. So this is

the first time, Alan, it's been back since then. And I miss you, Alan. This is going to be a silly

question. So I'm apologizing before I even ask it, but how are you?

Well, you know, I'm feeling terrible.

I miss my son.

We were the closest anybody could possibly be.

We worked together.

He produced my podcast, The Dershow, which I probably will have to cancel now.

He produced the film, Reversal of Fortune, which went an Oscar. He named my book

Chutzpah. He was a central part of my life. But when he was 10 years old, he had a malignant

brain tumor and radiation and surgery. And the doctor said he wouldn't make it to his bar mitzvah.
