0:53.4	What was your overall thoughts on that?
0:55.0	How's that being received within the Alabama fan base that reads A.L.com?
1:00.6	Yeah, it's complicated, to be honest.
1:02.7	Two things can be true at once.
1:04.1	One, I think it was a bad deal for Alabama.
1:06.6	Two, I think they kind of had to do it.
1:08.9	That's where I stand on it because this was a contract that stemmed from the season when Michigan very much so wanted Cail and DeBore.
1:18.6	And Cail and DeBore had a ton of leverage because Alabama, who else were they going to go get?
1:22.6	Who were they going to hire if Cail and DeBore at that point, mind you, when much of the cycle is done? I mean, a lot of the hires, I think, had been made at that point. So who's Alabama going to go higher? So Jimmy Sexton, Kailen, DeBore had a lot of leverage in that situation. And my understanding is essentially they had agreed to make some kind of deal. It hadn't been finalized. Had meant anything in writing. but at that point in time they had agreed to make some kind of deal. It hadn't been finalized. It had been anything
