And just like that, we're back, another edition of the Late Kick Extra podcast.

It is now Tuesday morning, October 12th, View of Our Lord,

2021. Unfortunately, I am also recording this on Tuesday morning. I had a fear this would happen.

As you know, we're in our new building now, so we're downtown. Well, that for me means the office

is precariously close to my apartment, which means I can go home anytime I want to, unlike the

bomb shelter office, which was down in Brentwood, which is about 20 minutes south of town, at which

point, if I was there, I was there. It was kind of an island. I was off in the middle of the ocean,

and I had no choice but to record this podcast the night before and then go home, whereas now

there's that voice in the back

of your head that says, go on, you're a little tired, go home, you can always do it tomorrow

morning. Well, as has been well established, it sounds like there's a massive chunk of peanut

butter in the back of my throat when I talk in the morning, as you're hearing right now.

We got to deal with it. I'm going to peer

pressure myself and ask for help from my colleagues and listeners peer pressure me into doing this

thing the night before. And we'll see how Thursday goes, TBD. But look, here's the deal. Some early
