Well, the Cubs right now are on a 10 game losing streak. Okay. Well, I hope to catch them. You might. You very well might, because at some point they'll win. I don't know if the Mets will win. I mean, it is unbelievable. And again, and I know there's, you can't, it's hard to criticize a player for performing well. But I don't need another. But I don't need another Juan Soto two run homer in a game you're down seven

nothing and have no offense.

It was six nothing at the time, but I get your point.

And that spurred on a little bit of offense and it was able to get burns out.

I didn't realize until, you know, I'm looking at the probable pitchers yesterday. Does Chase Burns kid is out to he's 7 and 1 now? He's got like an ERA of under 2 pretty good. Yeah, Gary Cole made a great point during the game. He said, you know, sometimes it's hard to wonder, is this pitcher dealing or do the Mets just stink on offense?

And I'm paraphrasing.

I think in this case, I think it's a little of both because he is really good. Well, Gary said he's a very good picture. Yes. I mean, he's been, like I said, I didn't realize how good he's been this year. He's been outstanding. but that having been said,

it's like when the Mets are down 6-0-0-0-0-whatever, Juan Soto feels free to swing the bat. When he's got men on 2nd and 30s like, how about a walk? I knew you were going to say that. What about if I have a really good eye? Yeah, I understand.

And I just take a walk instead.

But they don't pitch well. Aside from Brazabon, who's been good, they don't pitch well. Some people will tell you the metrics fielding-wise are good. They're not a good fielding team. I'm sorry. Even like last night, Jared Young can't catch a ball that is not short hop. That has bounced to him. Every first baseman in Major League Baseball catches that ball. It should have been a double play. So they don't pitch.

They don't field.

Now they can't hit.

They don't back up home plate.

They're getting boot off the field.

I said to the guys yesterday, I thought momentarily about going to the game on Monday because it was a Nolan-McLean Day.

And they're like, it's a long ride.
