number five in the books today after an off day. Pads go on tomorrow. Finally, what's going

on Nick? Not that much. I'm after right back here on the board just because I honestly

lose track when it's all these days in training camp. The heat and everything. It's like,

all right, stay five. Pads are on the mark. It also gets confusing because it's technically

day six. Practice five. The reason why it matters is because I had to go through the

CBA and figure out the rules and everything. A lot of confusion about when the pads are

going on. And I apologize if I contributed to that confusion, but I promise you there

was confusion in other places that was leading to some of that confusion. The deal is today

was technically the day the bears could have put pads on legally by the CBA. You may have

seen other teams run the league do that. As we said here on the show last week, we were

being told Tuesday the whole time. And then I think on Saturday, some things got some

wires got crossed, even within the building. Because I get to confusion like, yeah, you

think Monday, first pad in practice, if there's legal. And anyway, they did not have pads

on today. I asked Matt a loose after practicing why they did not put the pads on. And he said

that's coming off an off day. He wanted to ramp it up. Feels like there's been enough ramping

at this point. Can we say that? Yeah, let's get the pads on. Woohoo. Is that a sock

helmet? Oh, I believe there were nachos in this at some point. Maybe I don't know. Yeah,
