a long time friend that I've never met. So I guess it'd be an internet buddy.

Yeah, it probably just proves that Australia is a far better country and we're ahead a lot more than the

US. Good thing. You're at least 24 hours in style ahead of us or 14. Yeah,

something like that, but yeah, it's, I think that's yeah, something like 40 hours ahead of you. That's correct. Yeah.

Gotcha. Well, man, I appreciate you coming on here. I

have talked off and on with you for quite a while now. Your

traditional archery, former military, not afraid to grab a gun from time to time and

pretty fit. I was, you know, no homo. I was like, honey, look at this guy. He's a good looking dude. How old are you now?

Because you're still pretty shredded. I got to say.

Yeah, no shit. Well, I'm 40, yeah, 44 this year. So 75 model.

Yeah, I like to keep fit a bit of a back obviously, military background. So, you know, even healthy and keeping fit and all that sort of thing is. Yeah. No one likes a fat dude. I think too much to eat too many, too many things when you're in hunting camps.

Now, and when the zombies come, the fatties are the first to go. I watched zombie land. So I don't want to be the first to go. So you got to, you got to train.

Yeah, you got to try and get out of the zombies. Yeah. So, well, we talked for about 45 minutes before we even started this thing. So we're going to kick it off right into some hunting stories and probably see a lot of squirrels along the way.

That's funny. I brought up squirrels actually from a recent podcast of someone else's. But what, what, what were you, you were talking about Africa and African hunt? What were you talking about a minute ago?

Yeah, well, just, you know, we're chatting about, you know, how humble a thick boat can be and all the rest of it. I was out in a few wines with some mates of mine and they're all shipping out to Africa in about 10 days, 10 days ahead. And, yeah, one to many wines, I guess. And he made said me, oh, you know, you should come with us. And my wife probably had way too many wines and she agreed to it. But, so, hell, but, yeah, went to Africa for me. Third trip. And I went over there.

Just with me, but on camera and just to enjoy no pressure on it. And I come back empty handed. And it was a wasn't a soul hunting trip. But it sort of emphasized on, you know, if you're going to take up the stick, or, or hunt, you know, in the fireway place, you know, be prepared to come back empty handed because that's just what can be delivered.

And as I said, mate, it wasn't like a fool on every day hunt. You know, like, I was just helping me make get his survive business off the ground and, you know, half the mornings we just get up and have coffee and go for a drive and, you know, check areas and talk business and take photos and other guys are hunting for the thing. But, yeah, the stick boat can humble anyone as you would know.

It can and I'm in a good position because I, you know, I can, I don't sleep much. I can practice quite a bit. I've got the clums right down the road from me. I got a lot of time off and that, you know, that helps. Obviously, I mean, you know, the more hunts you go on the better. But, you know, if I only went on, you know, three to four hunts or even when I work construction, I was able to hunt quite a bit.
