Remember there was like, you know, when Trump was battle in Canada and like some of the Americas hated Canada. We didn't really know why, but we were like, yeah, let's hate Canada. We need that back for this upcoming series against the Blues. Yeah, I feel like that's over. I know. I want it back. I feel like that's over. I need the Blue Jays to say mean things about America. Yeah, well, the problem with that is most of them are from here. Yeah, that is a problem, Jerry. I don't know how many. Our sport. How many Canadians do you think are actually on their roster? See, that's what we should be doing. If you want to play on the Canadian teams, you've got to be from Canada. Yeah. Because then the Blue Jays would never be in the playoffs because there's no way Canadians know how to play baseball. I don't know if that's true.

They're busy rocking out to Brian Adams. This is what they do in Canada. That's probably true. I don't know. And digging themselves out of snow in July. You might be right about that. See what I'm saying, Jerry? I need to ramp. We need to ramp this up. All right. So I will tell you, let's see, I'm looking at their roster right now.

How many on their 40-man roster do you think are from Canada? Zero. They've got zero Canadians on that team. Well, that's what I think, too, but I'm just asking. I'm checking. Yeah, correct. Meanwhile, everyone on the Yankees from the Bronx originally, which is really cool.

They are not all from the Bronx, nor are they all from America or the U.S. You don't know that. Oh, no, no. I didn't know this. So, yeah, well, it does make sense. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was born in Montreal, which makes sense because of his dad. Yep. Okay, he counts. He can play. He is it. Like, that is it.

Everybody else is from the U.S.

You got a bunch of guys from Cuba or a handful of guys from Cuba, and that's pretty much it. And, you know, here's the sad thing, Jerry. I will be rooting for the Yankees. but the Blue Jays are a team that really I should like because they've got the sons of former major leaguers which I like.

They do.

And they have a fat player, Alejandro Kirk. Your guy. And remember, Davis Schneider's dad listens to the warm-up show. Correct. So, I mean, there's that, too. I know. There's so many reasons. You're not rooting for Canada, though. But I'm not. You're correct. I'm rooting for the Yankees. Not a chance. Although baseball, it's a funny sport. It is a funny game. You got. And we never like learn our lesson of paying guys, gigantic sums of money. And those dudes don't show up in the playoffs. shows up guys who just got here that are making under a million dollars cam schlittler sure i mean last night yeah i mean

outstanding i mean that was the night uh last night you could also make the case his game uh well

yeah yeah when he came out they weren't losing right but i'm saying, but I'm saying. They didn't win the game. That is very true. And Carlos Rodan came out, and it was a tie game. It was 3-3. And he makes a boatload of money. That is very true. But I thought where you were going to go is it's funny, like, watching the game. So I watched the Cubs and Padres game, and the Padres are hitting the line drives all over the place,

but they're hitting them right at the defense.

It really, like Danesby Swanson made a couple of really good plays.

I figured who their second baseman is.

He goes high to snag a line drive that should have been a base hit away, and they're really hitting the ball,

but they can't find an opening meantime ummed risario it's a ground ball it's a base hit anthony volpy

a soft ground ball to the right side but because the second basement is cheating towards that it's a

base it's just baseball's a funny game and they had more traffic on the bases and good for them.

And Schlittler was amazing.
