What's up, Al? Oh, hi there, Jerry. Jerry, back in the day, like, so I'll go circa 2001. That's back in the day now. Yeah, it's like 25 years ago. I was going to say more like the 90s was back in the day, but okay. Are you somebody who used Napster? Never. Really?

No.

Why do you think that was? I didn't really. I didn't understand it. I think that's probably the, there was a guy at the radio station. He was since fired. He was big into Napster in terms of, and he's the one that showed it to me.

I didn't understand it. I just didn't get it. I'm slow to the technology. So that's probably the best answer I can give you. Yeah. I saw a whole bunch of things came into my YouTube feed

that I've been watching. And it was about like piracy, right?

It's stealing, you know, you and I work in the business.

So I think we're maybe probably a little more sensitive to people stealing like shows and music and all that.

Back in Napster days, I was not sensitive to that. I was like,

yeah, let me use Napster. I download any song I want. Right. And we had it at WNEW with

talk shows. We had a computer in the studio that had every imaginable song you can think of.

But the whole point of these videos that I was, that have been coming into my feed was about

that the music industry at that time was you had to buy the CD.

Right.

Or buy an album and you had to buy, if you liked one song, you had to buy the full album.
