Hey guys, it's Jason. Welcome to Sports Spectrum. The Boston Celtics are the NBA champions,

2004 world champs, their first

title since 2008 and just their second title in 38 years since the last time they won in the

Larry Bird era of 1986. And I thought with the podcast, you know, we have a bank of content and interviews that we've done over the years.

And over the last two years, really in the last, I don't know, 20 months or so, we've had the opportunity to talk to two members of that team that won the title on Monday night, June 17th.

Al Horford, who waited a very long time to win his first NBA championship, now 38 years old

and well deserved.

We also talked to head coach Joe Missoula.

So the Al Horford interview took place in October of 2022.

So it was right after they had been to the finals, but they hadn't won it.

They had just lost to the Warriors.

And then we talked to Joe Muzula last year, right around October before this past season had just started in 2023.

So I thought, well, with the Celtics winning a championship,

let's bring back a portion of these two conversations that we got to have with Joe

Missoula and with Al Horford.

And I think it'll give you a little more of a glimpse behind the scenes on the importance

of faith, the importance of grace and gratitude in the lives of

both Al Horford and Joe Missoula. So let's start with Al Horford from back in October of 2022

But I want to start with a specific moment that took place in the playoffs last year.
