Scott, I know whenever I'm trying to get a deal done, the first thing I do is reject a request to have a moderator present.

Is that how you operate as well?

Yeah, I don't want a moderator. I want to do the deal myself. Of course, I'm going to just make sure that the terms that I want are the ones that come

across. That's all MLBs say or the players are saying. We're like, why are we bargaining?

The deal that we made is a good deal. Just accept it. That's how this works. Just accept it.

Just accept it. It's a deal that works for everybody, clearly. Yeah. So just accept the deal.

We don't need no, we don't need no stinking moderator. It's becoming exhausting following the news

with these two sides and the lockout. It's February 9th as we're recording this.

Pitchers and catchers typically report right around Valentine's Day, which is next week.

It's five days away, for God's sake.

That's obviously not happening. Nothing has been announced as far as the regular season is being

delayed or spring training is going to be on this date or whatever. We all know it's there. It's

just like, when are they going to announce it? And it's just every time I either get an update from the MLB

app or I see something on Twitter or Google, I kind of have to look at it, you know,

like like a scared kid looks between his eyes, looks between his fingers, like blocking his

eyes. Like, oh, what's it going to be now with these two sides? That's how I feel. Yeah, and Manfred's, you know, scheduled to talk on Thursday.
