1:15.7	We're told to share from the big book of our colleagues anonymous, our experience
1:22.7	strength and hope, and share a little of what we used to be like, what happened, and what we're like now.
1:27.7	And that's why I'm going to try to do for you this morning. Hopefully there will be a difference between the two.

1:38.7	You may not realize, but I spoke here before on my 40th birthday.
1:44.7	A very long time ago.
1:49.7	It's like I was talking to Clay, and he said, and I told him I said, I was speaking when you were a baby and diapers.

2:01.7	But anyway, I am grateful to be here, and I want to thank the committee for having invited me.
2:06.7	It's always a privilege to get to speak in front of a group of alcoholics or alanons because it weren't for y'all.
2:12.7	I wouldn't have the life that I have today.
2:15.7	If y'all hadn't cared enough about me and JD to embrace us, this was the first convention that we ever went to in 1977.
