You go from the National Football League, American Ninja Warrior. Like, you have a pretty unbelievable life and career path, man. Man, you know, it's so cool. And, you know, I would also give credit to wrestling.

WWF now, WWE. I know they don't like saying the WWF, but that's how I grew up with it.

w.E changed my life and a lot of people don't realize this is because I grew up just

such a big fan especially in the early years and I developed my broadcasting for for my hosting

style for ninja warrior after w.d. who is your primary influence? What wrestler? Well, Hawk Hogan, of course. Hawke Hogan was the biggest ultimate warrior, Mr. Wonderful. Paul Orndorf reference, man. You were an OG, of course, yeah. Tag teams, I remember when Hawk Hogan fought the Bushwhackers, or no, no, the Moon Dogs. moon dogs he fought the moon dogs and it was right after his back

He came back to fight you know one against two and it was like oh man I could uh but I go all the way back

I mean I could go you know old school bring it up to current but you know listening to the gorilla monsoons and the Bobby heenans and you know, Jerry Lawler and listening to the way they called

and the way they kind of move and change the game and commentary-wise, I went out for audition

for American Ninja Warrior.

I had gone out for like 100 auditions.

I've been told no on all these different shows I tried out for.

And I kind of lost faith.

And so I get this call for American Ninja Warrior.

I'm like

oh whatever and just went into W.W.E. mode during the audition I was just messing around.

I was like I'm not going to call me anyways who cares I get the phone call two weeks later.

14 years later I'm still doing American Ninja Warriors. So you wrote a book, Everyone Can Be a Ninja?
