What can I tell you, it's a winter Wednesday here in New York. We haven't had many of these.

There was one morning where we woke up on a Tuesday after Tuesday night with the next Yankees. And that's all won. Yeah. And it was a winter Wednesday. And that's what it is today. I mean, you know, the Yankees do what they do. They hit home runs. They win games. the Mets do finally what we're all hoping they would do

It's a team that now loses its starting catcher for I'm sure it's going to be a period of time.

So that means what are they missing?

Well, and they move Bichet from third base to

shortstop, and that creates a problem.

And they have Banya's playing there. They have Banya playing there. I mean... Well, it was actually the Tigers that were worse defensively last night, so at least that was a good thing. But yeah, I mean, it's just I don't want to go negative with them this morning because I feel like that's what we're going to do for the rest of the season.

But it really is amazing how these guys get hurt and they just don't get healthy. Like Luis Robert Jr. and Jorge Polanco, God knows when you're going to see these guys. I mean, we haven't heard an update on Francisco Indoor in a very long time. Now, he usually plays a lot of games. He doesn't miss games. But, you know, Palanco and Robert Jr. are guys who have had injury problems. But it's like, how does this happen every year to some of these guys? And this is where David Sturz has to take a hit with that when it comes to bringing in Polanco and Robert Jr. But, I mean, every year. I mean, we talk about what John Carlos Stanton. It happens with Luis Robert, too. This guy's a young guy.

He's in shape.

These guys get hurt and they never come back. But anyway, don't want to go negative. AJ Ewing. It was A.J. Ewing's night. He's a fun guy to watch play. It is a cool thing that they got that pick that turned out to be AJ Ewing as the compensatory pick for losing Jacob de Grom and free agency. So I thought that was kind of a cool thing. Well, if he turns out to be something, that would be a great story. Yeah. And the nice thing is, is that he gets his first hit in his first game.
