And number two, I find Mac Jones so fascinating. I find the way Kyle Shanahan thinks about quarterbacks.

Really interesting. This is not a topic about Mac Jones taking Brock Purdy's job,

but there was something interesting said about Mac Jones over the weekend that I want to get to

and just how he might be the difference in some small way for the 49ers this year,

or at least he'll have the chance to be.

One thing I've seen over the last few days is this belief that the NCAA tournament, this is what I

want to talk about briefly, is never going to be the same again. It's only major conference teams

left in the suite 16. And it's become a very common and popular opinion to say this NCAA tournament's never going to be the same. And you know what? It's true. I hate to say it's true. But it's true. For one reason that that just can't be denied is that teams that used to not be major conference teams are major conference teams now.

Like, BYU is now a big 12 team.

So that makes for one less non-power conference team.
