Now, today's first story comes from Intelligent 3273

and says, am I the asshole for making my husband choose

the divorce he asked for?

And it says, so I came on here a while back

to seek advice.

I was wondering if I was wrong for asking my husband

to put off the divorce he requested for a few years while I finished up schooling. Consensus

was I was the asshole. Since then I've worked on myself and decided to ask for the alimony

and child support I deserve. I'd been to stay at home for 10 years and helped build his small

business along the way. Originally, my husband was miserable to be around and wasn't himself when I

told him I needed some time before the divorce to be on my feet. I came on here and everyone told me

the poor guy felt trapped because of my request. So I let that shit go and said we'll get the full divorce.

Four month process in our state and move on with our lives.

I have the paperwork ready.

Told him to find a lawyer.

He found one that wasn't licensed.

Through simple channels I was able to find out that the person claiming to be a lawyer online was not licensed through the state.
