Hey everybody. Welcome to Riffon with Griffin. No Woo's today. Today is a special intro today and I thought

just because of everything that's going on in the world right now with the coronavirus with the racial upheaval the injustice that's being

brought to light I thought I would just do my own intro, give you my own thoughts about this on my platform.

Before I play this episode, I have the great Isha Alpha on the show.

She hasn't, she came out with her own comedy album and a special that's coming out on all things comedy and we actually have a very interesting discussion before all of this stuff happened with the protests over George Floyd and we have a great

discussion about me being mixed in America mixed race and light skin and just we

have our own discussion I thought it was it's interesting even before

all this happened that you know people of color have been talking about certain things

for a long time and now this things are being brought to light. So yes, I thought WUU's weren't appropriate for right now.

With the Black Lives Matter movement and what it really stands for and we should be you know conscious of that. I mean for me like I say I'm a mixed race person and

I deal with things in my own way from my own experience.

And it's hard right now being someone that's like sort of in the public eye.

I mean I'm not saying I'm famous or anything but you know just first of all the pushback you get right now on the

internet they can't even post anything without somebody trying to tell you how

you should feel this is like grieving It's like when someone dies and we all grieve in our own way.

And sometimes people get on you like, well, you don't care because you're not grieving the way they grieve.

It's the same they grieve.

It's the same thing with protesting.

My anger level and what I'm angry about,

what how I want to put my energy forward in this

may not be the same as you.

So don't assume that you think you care more than me or that I don't care at all.
