I just got back from running and I had some time to think about some things and I remember I read a Wall Street journal article the other day and it is titled

Facing a Critical Pilot Shortage Airlines Scramble to hire new pilots.

The subtitle is Anticipating a wave of retirement's airlines are increasing salaries and

benefits to attract and replenish their staff.

Now there's nothing new in this article this has been well documented

for the past five even ten years that this pilot shortage was coming was looming

and it is here people are still arguing that it is more of a pay shortage

and not a pilot shortage, but the pay has gone up

and airlines still need pilots.

Now, this article, all it has basically told me was now is the best time to get into aviation

if you are thinking about becoming pilot if you are dreaming about becoming a pilot.

It doesn't matter if you're 10 if you're 35 40 50 60 go for it go do it.

This is Boeing estimates that airlines around the world

will need to recruit 635,000 pilots over the next two decades. That's not a lifetime, that's just in two decades.

It needs 635,000 pilots. That's to replace and that's to hire more so they can come up with the demand. More people

are flying on airlines now than ever says this article and they just do not have

the pilots of staff. These regionals are parking planes, other airlines are

parking planes.
