Hey Better Babes, welcome to the Monday Edit. This week, like every week, we're joined by our executive producer Chris. Say hi, Chris. Bonjour! First segment, what's going on in our world? I have to, not to name drop, but Aloke, I was telling Aloke about like what I'm doing this summer, and Aloke was so proud of me because they were like, you never travel, like for fun, like you only ever travel for work. So Bajordo, Mark and I are going to Italy for a little romantic vacation, but because I don't know how to only take time off, I am going to London first so we can visit some space and K stores. So I'm actually Chiuri I'm in London today, but obviously this is my office in New York, so I haven't

gotten there yet. But that's what I'm doing this week. I'm giving you Europe. I'm giving you

travel queen. I'm giving you also going to Germany this week because J.B. and Hare launched

in due gloss. So now J.B. and Hare is also in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, which I'm so excited about.

And we actually launched in March, but I'm going to do store visits and do some like education

and style some hair and like work with some people at the Douglas store. So that'll be fun.

And yeah, I'm actually really excited for that. So it's giving

like European moment. What's happening with you? Just desmogifying, living. Desmogifying.

That New York air, baby, I woke up and I was like, I can't breathe. It's so dense. That smoke is

so dense from Canada, darling. Blame Canada. What's going on? Our downstairs neighbor is a nurse and she had like masks. So at first I was like, oh, these people are being overdramatic. And then like five seconds, I turned around and came back and got one because I was like, it does hurt the lungs. It hurts the face. It hurts the eyes. And it really was giving like, I was like, is there an eclipse? But it was just

smoke from literal Canada. Literal Canada smoke. That's all that it was. And it was like

orange and it felt like dune and it was just very post-apocalyptic, as they say. Did you see the

air quality map thing? I didn't see the number, but I did see that it was, I got the

warning on my, on my phone. It was like air quality sucks ass here. So like New York, like it went

from like, I never really, I always look at like the precipitation thing on Apple Maps. Like I'm

never really looking at the air quality one. So the air quality, I think it was going from like

yellow was giving like, you know, registering, but then it was like red's not good. Purple's like really not good. And then like that deep like orangey, purpley red. Like actually, let me just show you guys because this is a video. So like, why am I having, why am I being? Okay, so here. Can you see the, like, gradient that it's giving you?
