Joining me today, my guest is a former US Air Force flight surgeon and aerospace medicine specialist who supported more than 30 space shuttle missions with NASA at Cape Canaveral.

He served as Chief of Aerospace Medicine for the 45th Space Wing, overseeing medical operations for launch and flight crews. After retiring from the Air Force, he became an author

and speaker, sharing insights from his years working at the intersection of medicine, aviation and

spaceflight.

He recently gained attention for publicly discussing a 1992 experience involving what he describes

as a disc-shaped craft seen at a secure facility.

It's my pleasure to be here.

Very good to have you on. And like I say,

your short bio from myself will not do your illustrious career justice. That must have summed many decades of work and effort and accolades all up far too quickly. And I'd love if you could

just fill the listeners and viewers in on some of those gaps on your

background and career. Okay, well, I was a senior flight surgeon for the United States Air Force

and was attached to NASA as a flight surgeon. I had a flight surgeon certification at Johnson Space Center

for NASA operations. I served in Europe,

stationed in Germany. I've been on five continents, performed classified mission on four continents, visited more than 19, well,

19 countries, and worked with people for more than 34 nations related to their military

operations, deployed on multiple classified missions that I'm of course naturally not

going to discuss.

But I think one thing that sometimes people miss is that I was concerned with what NASA was

doing because when I got there in 1989, there were a lot of crazy things going on.
