Good evening once again. I am Stephanie Ruhl. Welcome to the nightcap, though we might need to change this show name to Holy Cow. We have got so much news to cover. We certainly have a lot tonight. But I want to start with the breaking news out of northeast Philadelphia, where a private Learjet crashed near a shopping mall causing a massive explosion. It comes just days

after the deadly mid-air collision near Reagan National Airport. Here's what we know so far. An air

ambulance carrying six people, including one patient, crashed shortly after takeoff. The FAA says the

plane was en route to Springfield, Missouri. At least three homes were struck as well as multiple vehicles all near the Roosevelt Mall shopping center.

The doorbell video you are looking at right now appears to show the precise moment of the crash.

Philadelphia mayor, Cheryl Park. Philadelphia Mayor Cheryl Parker had this to say earlier this evening. We have no reports on the number of fatalities.

Several dwellings and vehicles were also impacted. And so we are urging people, particularly those families

who live in the surrounding area, to please stay home if possible. If you see any debris

and those who are conducting the investigations have repeated consistently.

Please do not touch anything because it is still an active investigation.

Greg, this jet had just taken off. Based on what you

have seen, what could have gone wrong here? Well, you have to look at Stephanie, a mechanical

malfunction of some sort, possibly a flight control issue. The fact that the aircraft was in a very

steep, about 45, 50 degree nose low attitude at a high rate of speed.

You can hear that in that ring doorbell video.

You can hear that the power is still up on those engines.

And of course, the airplane is headed to the ground at a very high rate of speed, high

energy impact.
