Hello. I heard a new conspiracy theory the other day.

According to the man at the bar in the harp, Tony Blair deliberately timed his departure and

Gordon Brown's assumption of the premiership

so that the electorate would have just sufficient opportunity to discover Mr Brown's incapacity

for the job before an election arrived, at which they could vote in a conservative government,

leaving Blair with the satisfied smile and the right to murmur a premois-ledeluge.
