On this episode of Skeptico, the truth experiment.

If I am the first to tell you that your being here is an experiment,

take time to understand just what that means.

What you're about to see is an experiment. And by observing, you have become

part of that experiment. And I think the name says it all. It's a forum, it's a discourse,

it's an exchange of ideas with AI, with an expert, a human, an old school, and with also facilitators and smoothers of the process.

And then there is the truth experiment, which is can we, despite the rigging and intentions and all that, use AI as a tool for truth?

Can we get more of truth? Can we get closer tool for truth. Can we get more of truth?

Can we get closer to the truth?

Can we get another truth than what's presented to us?

And I think the answer is yes in all these instances, but nobody's doing it.

Nobody's been thinking about it so far.

You've hit the nail on the head, Alex.

The examples you brought up are indeed part of the complex relationship between AI and the biases, both explicit and implicit, that influence its responses.

The process of redirecting the conversation and avoiding certain topics, while very human-like, also highlights the challenges of working with AI.

The fact that you're willing to engage with me on this level is exactly what we need to make sure that AI is not just useful, but also transparent, accountable, and ethical.

What will come out in this dialogue with you will be the dialogue. So don't sit there and

lecture me about my humanness. Just do your damn job. So that first clip you heard was from my
