Alright, I'm just going to warn you today that I am having one of those days.

And I know when you come on after the weekend, you're supposed to be all giddy up and ready to go.

And all those raw raw sort of like hustle and grind porn stars out there who come in every day and talk about how every single day work is just amazing and how they've never worked day in their life.

And dude, I'm just struggling today. It's just I don't want to do anything. I don't want to be here. I would much. Well, it's cloudy too.

So we've this is actually a good thing. So we've had rain for the first time all year long. And it's not a ton of rain, but we're getting a little something.

And so it's cloudy and overcast. It's it's hot and humid outside. So you don't really want to go outside and do anything. But at the same time, you're like,

dude, this is like a curl up on the couch and watch like old movies sort of day. This is not a day when I want to be in trying to figure out how to run this business.

Right. It is. And now I got to do a show.

Yeah. You were calling for this. You were calling for this weather to change. You were like, oh man, it's too hot. And then you forgot all the negatives that come along with not having just like nice weather out.

But no, look, it doesn't bother me to have the it doesn't bother me to have the rain. It's actually good. I'm shocked. Like we are our reservoirs are overflowing with water. And now we've had even more. And so we're going to have to let more water out of the reservoirs.

And I was thinking about this the other day. I'm like, why why do we not have a better system for this? Like you know that we've been we have severe droughts here. There's more and more people.

Why hasn't any money or any thought been put into creating bigger reservoirs or or runoff so that when we have when we have years like this where we get three times the rain for the fall that we would normally get.

That we have some way to capture and hold on to that for the time period when things are bleak or as you know we go through more droughts. Same thing is Southern California.

I don't know why they don't have a better system for capturing rain flow instead of it all just flowing right back into the ocean.

They've had so much rain this year. Their reservoirs could be overflowing too. They just don't do a very good job of capturing that water.

So completely off the subject for today. I'm just want to one of the other many things that frustrates me about government and putting other people in charge of anything.

But today I thought we would chat for just a minute about about this concept of artificial intelligence and we've talked about this a few times on the show before I wrote about it in in this week's newsletter.

And it's not as much that I want to talk about artificial intelligence because that's not really the point.

The point is I want you guys to understand that we are all susceptible to group think we all have what is known as memetic desire when we see a lot of other people thinking about things talking about things wanting things that we tend to want them to it's mimic memetic is mimicking we want to mimic the desires of others.

This is a natural human characteristic. We all have it. You have it. I have it.
