We were sold artificial intelligence, an incredibly, very, very misleading term on the misleading premise that it would make all of our lives easier and much more

convenient. It would help us solve all sorts of problems, a flash running from simple everyday

questions, a massive complex equations regarding everything from handling your finances

to writing your best-selling autobiography, all at the press of a button.

We would all become whatever we want.

If you want to be an artist, author, filmmaker, or musician, just tell AI what you want and go back to playing video games as it creates your masterpiece.

Put together an itinerary for the

ideal vacation or the perfect date. Design your dream home. You can even make life decisions

based by the computing power of massive data centers. With that kind of power, what could

possibly go wrong? Well, it appears with AI firms hemorrhaging and all sorts of money and no signs of the massive

wealth it would generate, the increased productivity, the improved efficiency, at least not

yet in an industry whose business model seems to be thoroughly dependent upon just weight,

AI appears to have found a new purpose,

and that is a police state spying military assassination machine,

which makes Silicon Valley seem a lot less cool and a lot more evil,

which also leads to yet another revolving door between the public and private sectors.
