AI warnings, this time the risk to U.S. financial stability, the downside of relying on just one

model and one startup that's building on several models.

podcast. I'm Deardreboza. And I'm Mark Gilbert. Today it is Tech Check.

AID. We've gotten fundraises this week, some reporting on the capital

environment, and now multiple government officials are making sort of strikingly similar warnings about the concentration of risk in AI.

They seem to have come in in the last 24 hours as well and they talk a lot to see and be see so we often hear them first but it kind of goes against

this whole idea that we've been talking about all year that the race that mega cap tech has been in at least the

race that gets the most buzz and that is the best model, the

best large language model, the best tools for customer, the idea that Microsoft

makes this huge bet on Open AI,

because they're the ones that are going to fuel

a lot of the applications, their model.

But this other idea is emerging,

and this is one that was brought up by the finance world

in the last 24 hours in particular.

I mean, it's an idea that's been in the undertones all year,

but relying on one large language model,

that is risky.

It seems so obvious.

But here was SEC Chairman Gary Gensler on C. M. C. yesterday.
