And I, when Life of Showgirl came out last Friday, I immediately sat down and listened to it and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's very different from

tortured poets. As someone who likes a minor chord and a sad song, of course I love

tortured poets. Life of a Showgirl is a bop and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. And I need to make a

request. Those of you that are DMing me and tagging me in posts about how the life of a showgirl

is satanic.

I need you to stop and here's why.

I live through the satanic panic of the 1990s and I'm not going back.

The only part of the 90s I'm interested in revisiting is like, I don't know, grunge.

I love that style of clothing.

And I enjoyed Nirvana and the Counting Crows and Lilith Fair quite a bit.
