I am Ben McKee joined by West Rucker as always, and we were planning on doing a Diamond

Vols podcast regardless of circumstance after Tennessee swept Dayton but this is also

somewhat of a breaking news edition although a little later in the day because there's a whole lot going on on campus.

Basketball is in the final week of the regular season.

Football is stealing commitments out of Lane Kiffin's backyard and the baseball program is being the baseball program.

But good news for Tennessee is that Tony Vitello, his three-game suspension has been lifted

and he'll be back in the dugout on Tuesday afternoon

against Charleston Southern but I think even better news is that Maui Ahuna has been

freed and that is quite the development for Tennessee a much

needed development for what would be a really really good Tennessee baseball

team without him but Wes a Tennessee baseball team that is

certainly better with him in the lineup at the top and in the field defensively.

No question about it Ben no question'll apologize quickly off the top.

This should have been out about an hour ago in all fairness, but my son had other ideas.

So regardless, that's good news for us is now that we're here doing this and more importantly for Tennessee. Yeah, Ben it's it's it's awesome news. It's a this is a premium player. This is one of the biggest players in the portal at any position. This is the best defensive shortstop probably at the college level and a guy who's a plus hitter I think potentially for the position to he's a first round prospect for a reason this is a, very big day for Tennessee and I would imagine

also sort of a sigh of relief day for Tennessee that any concerns about what seriousness
