0:34.9	Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength
0:38.6	and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover
0:43.1	from alcoholism.
0:45.0	The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
0:49.0	There are no do's or fees for AA membership.
0:51.9	We are self-supporting through our own contributions.
0:54.9	AA is not allied with any sect to nomination, politics, organization, institution.
1:01.8	Does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
1:07.7	Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
1:12.7	This is an open meeting of alcoholics anonymous and as such I'm going to read the anonymity
1:17.9	statement whenever I have to say anonymity in public I get nervous so bear that in mind
1:23.0	please.
1:24.8	There may be some here who are not familiar with our tradition of personal anonymity at
1:29.8	the public level.
1:31.2	Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion.
1:35.2	We need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films.
