Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Now, last week we were focused on reforming the second power of the soul,

the emotions. This week we're looking at how we can conform our mind, our intellect to Jesus. Now, if our primary

faculty is the intellect and the purpose of the intellect is to know the truth,

then the first step in living a fully human life is to figure out what is the truth about life itself what is the meaning of the universe what is

the point of our existence why are we born why do we die and is there anything

after death?

But many people, when they face this question,

instead of tackling it head on, simply hide from it.

They bury their intellects like an ostrich buries its head in the sand.

And they usually do so just through busyness and entertainment.

And they call themselves agnoy. busyness and entertainment.

And they call themselves agnostics,

which means the ones who don't know.

The ones who don't know if God exists or if he doesn't, the ones who are uncommitted.

They say, oh, who knows what it all means?

That's beyond my pay grade.

I have other things to worry about more than the ultimate meaning of life.
