Diego and we're going to talk today about the Agla Nema plant. It's also known as Chinese Evergreen.

So that's probably what I'm going to call it instead of calling it Agla

for the rest of the episode. So so hope you forgive me for that.

They are a very, very solid house plant to grow.

It's a clean air plant, it has the ability to remove benzene and formaldehyde from air sources, making it safer to

breathe in your home. Now that effect is, of course, minimal. It's not like it's just the world's

best air purifier, but any little bit helps, especially when it's a beautiful plant.

Okay, well, there are a few different varieties and I'm going to recommend a couple really quickly. There's the Agla Nettitum, which is probably the more classic one. It's extremely low-light capable similar to something like a ZZ plant.
