81: Agent Crowley: Kabbalah Magick At The Statue of Liberty - Crowley was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, philosopher, political theorist, novelist, mountaineer, and painter. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century. Most know of him from his occult celebrity built on the premise, "Do What Thou Will Is The Whole of The Law" but what about his other "secret" life as an agent for the British government?
Joel is back with another episode in his “Agent Crowley” series and this time he follows the Beast all the way to Bedloe's Island, the home of the Statue of Liberty. First Joel looks at the influx of new British Intelligence handlers, like Sir William Wiseman, that came to New York who specifically dealt with Crowley and his connections to the German operations. He then breaks down the Beats’s “great oath of Revolution” to the Irish and the Kabbalistic ritual connected to it. Lastly, Joel looks at Crowley’s connection to Norman Graham Thwaites, his new direct handler, and the supernatural world view they both shared.
