I'm Guy Barta and welcome to gardening with the RHS.

One thing I really love about gardening is the huge array of topics that you can get positively geeky over. Recently, I've been really interested in

Pianese, so I bought a collection of rather expensive plants and they're still going all right,

but now, much more economically, I've become obsessed

by cover crops for my allotment and spend unfeasible amounts of time growing oats and

ryegrass to try and improve the soil, save money, improved environment and grow better veg.

Results are promising, shall we say. Anyway, back to this podcast.
