the Minneapolis Police Department, all of which led to the murder of George Floyd, who

was killed three years ago by the Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin.

Today, a blistering new report released by the U.S. Department of Justice, finding the

city's police, quote, used excessive and unreasonable force, violated people's first and fourth

amendment rights, failed to hold officers accountable for their actions and, in a first

ever finding by the DOJ, engaged in unlawful discrimination against black and Native American

people.
