So before we start this week's episode of Afterthoughts, just because it's really kind of relevant to what we're talking about today,

Cajara, Fracey, eight months pregnant and missing.

We just recently become aware of another young woman named Ashanti Allen, who is currently missing from Houston.

And she's a 23-year-old woman.

She is eight months pregnant, and she's been reported missing under concerning circumstances.

Now, she was last seen at her apartment near NRG Stadium, and her family says that her disappearance is completely out of character, especially given her complicated pregnancy

and upcoming due date.

And her mother was recently interviewed by K-H-O-U-11 in Houston.

And here's what she said about the last communication that she received from her daughter.

On April the 10th, around 350 that morning, a text was sent to me saying I'm leaving and not coming back. Trissa Gaines,

Ashanti's mother knew something was wrong. I didn't believe that she actually sent it. We

was just inquiring about a two-bedroom so the baby can have his own room and stuff like that.
