All right, let me start with a simple question this week because I had a week off.

I was away while Alex Cora got fired more on that in a minute.

But let me start with a simple question.

Do these people look unhappy to you?

Because they don't look unhappy to me.

If you want to know, my guess, Alex Cora on some level is ecstatic that the Red Sox fired him.

Now, I don't know how he feels about the rest of his coaching staff.

I'm sure he feels some responsibility for that.

But this is the photo taken.

It was on the internet, certainly social media, things like that.

Cora with the six coaches who were fired along with him about 10 days ago in Baltimore.

These guys don't look terribly upset to me.

And I will add that Alex Cora signed a three-year contract for I believe it was $22.5 million.

It was $7.5 million a year.

He didn't make it halfway through that contract. In fact,

he really made it just a little more than one year through and will now get paid in

entirety for that deal, despite the fact that he has been fired from the Red Sox. If you ask me,

Alex Cora kind of came out okay in this whole thing.

And I will say now what I've said all along, Alex Cora, I think in many ways, was a bad

fit for what the Red Sox have become.

So before I get to some of the particulars, let me just add that I've always believed two things.
