Welcome to The Wally Show Aftercastle, the stuff we didn't get to during the course of the regular show today.

You're going to be sad tomorrow because you're just going to have Gavin and myself to deal with because Betty Rock is going to be gone.

She is taking a much needed day off to go and hang with her dad.

And I love this.

Like I am all about like daddy daughter days and stuff like that because I have a daughter

and I know how important that time is.

And so she's making him a birthday card.

Yeah.

We're celebrating his birthday and we're celebrating my parents' 44th wedding anniversary.

That is a lot of time. Right. That is a lot of time. They're only six years away from a 50th. Yeah. That's crazy to think. I know. Oh. Do you get your parents anything for their anniversary? No. No. We don't. That's them. Not me. Yeah. I've never understood that, honestly honestly I can understand like anything for your wife

for our anniversary yeah no but like the kids getting

yeah like I would never expect Haley to get us something for our anniversary

no unless it's a trip that'd be great um

no it's an expensive thing I'm glad that like my wife and I

have chilled out over the course of the years

of like gifts for anniversaries and Valentine's Day. Like Valentine's Day, we go to dinner.

Like we don't, we don't do gifts for that anymore. We do cards for Valentine's Day. And then so

we do birthday gifts and then obviously Christmas gifts.

But yeah, we'll usually go to dinner or something.

Every once in a while we would do like a weekend getaway or something like that for our

anniversary, but not a ton, which is, I got to tell you, it's kind of nice.

Like, it's nice.
