Welcome to the Wally show after castle stuff. We did not get to during the course of the show today.

I came across this article that I found interesting because there's a lot of talk about minimum wage

0:11.4

and how companies are paying $15 an hour for, you know, fast food work or more and still can't get

0:20.0

people to apply or come in. It's crazy that it's gone up that high, but that's not even minimum

0:26.4

wage. I came across this article that was a distinction and what made me start thinking of this too is

0:30.6

like we bought eggs the other day six eggs was three bucks. Like so their prices are up 50% milk is

0:37.2

up and I started thinking about man, how do people that inflation has gotten so out of control

0:42.3

and I don't see it shrinking back down. Like it's like once you get used to paying that,

0:47.9

it will always be that. Like I don't see us going to now all of a sudden eggs drop way back down

0:53.2

just because because companies make money and they get used to it. Yeah, but I mean if it gets

0:57.6

too ridiculous people are going to be like, come on, that's ridiculous. Yeah, so we'll see, you know,

1:24.5

They say this amount of money is considered poor. So for one person living in America by themselves,

1:32.4

what do you think the average yearly income would qualify you to be at poverty level?

1:39.2

20. Man, 20,000. 20,000. Okay. That sounds about right. That does sound about right. Well you

1:46.8

guys are bougie. There's 20,000 years as high. Oh, okay. I figured, boy, you guys can't,

1:53.0

you pull over the silver spoon in your mouth. I figured it was because it's so close to, you know,

1:56.8

it's like over in my head. Maybe it's, is it under a grand a month? I mean, it's just a little

2:01.9

over. It's 13. Nine. Okay. 13. Nine is what they consider poverty level for a person living in
