For years and years and years the dog has been man's best friend but now chickens are edging their way into that spot because chickens are pretty awesome.

0:08.6

So awesome in fact that they have their own chicken of the month club and let's see if dogs can do that.

0:13.6

This is where you can give two chickens to a family in need by only giving $28 a month.

0:18.3

If somebody were to give me two chickens and go here you go here two chickens do something with them.

0:22.4

I would have no idea. I would probably name them. I would dress them up in sweaters.

0:27.9

Yeah but none of that does any good but in developing countries people know what to do with chickens.

0:32.8

Chickens provide a ton of eggs which can provide income for a family that is struggling to break the cycle of poverty.

0:39.5

They also provide nutrition for families don't tell the chickens that part but they also can sell the chicks in the marketplace.

0:45.1

It's a great source of income. We all talk about side hustles. This is a way you can invest in a family to help them break the cycle of poverty for just $28 a month.

0:54.5

And it's by giving a chicken. So text the word chicken to 919-799. That's chicken to 919-799.

1:01.9

And all of this is made possible through our friends at Food for the Hungry. They do so much great work for the underserved and underprivileged.

1:08.5

And you can be a part of that today. We'd love to have you get involved again. Text chicken to 919-799.

1:15.2

What was the wall of the show after gas all the stuff we didn't get to during the course of the show today.

1:20.5

I was dumbfounded. I came across this story on Good Morning America about the CDC because you might have noticed I haven't heard a lot about COVID in the last couple of weeks here.

1:31.6

I wonder why that is. I know. I wonder. Well, it was every break, every story for two years in the now.

1:39.4

Oh, it's just not around anymore. Well, the CDC announced that 70% of the counties in the US can go without masks and that includes schools.

1:49.3

So 70% that's kind of interesting. Why is this the case? Well, when you dive into the story, it's because they shifted away from the daily case count of how many people are coming down with COVID to hospitalizations, which is something that people have been saying for the last six months.

2:07.8

Why are you not especially with the Omicron variant? Why are you not looking at hospitalizations in the seriousness of it versus the daily count?

2:16.4

Because the daily count doesn't take into account fear. It doesn't take into account control. It doesn't take into account furthering the narrative.

2:24.7

And so that is why so they have changed. And if anyone that says COVID has not been politicized is wrong. It has been highly politicized.

2:33.6

They got so much more political than medical like real early on in this thing. And you look at this and you go, well, why now are they not talking about this anymore?

2:43.2

You know, okay, so now it's not an issue or we're just looking at a different metric. And it's also because you got midterm elections coming up.
