| 0:00.0 | For years and years and years the dog has been man's best friend but now chickens are edging their way into that spot because chickens are pretty awesome. |
| 0:08.6 | So awesome in fact that they have their own chicken of the month club and let's see if dogs can do that. |
| 0:13.6 | This is where you can give two chickens to a family in need by only giving $28 a month. |
| 0:18.4 | If somebody were to give me two chickens and go here you go here two chickens do something with them. |
| 0:22.4 | I would have no idea. I would probably name them. I would dress them up in sweaters. |
| 0:27.9 | Yeah but none of that does any good but in developing countries people know what to do with chickens. |
| 0:32.8 | Chickens provide a ton of eggs which can provide income for a family that is struggling to break the cycle of poverty. |
| 0:39.5 | They also provide nutrition for families don't tell the chickens that part but they also can sell the chicks in the marketplace. |
| 0:45.1 | It's a great source of income. We all talk about side hustles. This is a way you can invest in a family to help them break the cycle of poverty for just $28 a month. |
| 0:54.5 | And it's by giving a chicken. So text the word chicken to 919-799. That's chicken to 919-799. |
| 1:01.9 | And all of this is made possible through our friends at Food for the Hungry. They do so much great work for the underserved and underprivileged. |
| 1:08.5 | And you can be a part of that today. We'd love to have you get involved again. Text chicken to 919-799. |
| 1:15.2 | But when the wall is show aftercast all the stuff we did not get to during the show today. Yesterday I realized kind of what a maybe a bad person or a bad believer. |
| 1:27.7 | Well I might be. Yeah like everyone's like oh good it's you not me. We were having this meeting like we're emerging with another ministry and they have been doing radio at this one station for a bunch of years. |
| 1:41.8 | And it's very different from how we do radio. It's super like family friendly and super positive and very very spiritual. |
| 1:51.8 | Okay. And so that's not how I've done this show since I got here. And that's not how I am as a person. |
| 1:58.0 | And that's not really how Betty or Gavin are. We're not like gushy faith-feely people. |
| 2:03.7 | And I'm not saying this in a way to degrade them or diminish them. But I'm just saying we have two very different cultures at our different places. |
| 2:13.5 | And there was part of me that was like they were doing some things in this meeting. They were doing their half of the meeting. |
| 2:18.0 | And I'm like man I am just I'm just not wired that way. I'm not this that guy. And it was some of it was kind of comical to me you know. |
| 2:25.1 | And then I started thinking I'm like but they're like pursuing Jesus. They just do it in a different way than I do. |
| 2:31.9 | And like who am I to judge that? And like I'm being critical of someone that is coming off as more religious than I am or more faithful than I am. |
