Welcome to The Wallet Show Aftercast, all the stuff we did not get to during the course of the show today.

0:04.7

Everybody, I'm assuming, had a pretty good weekend. We had four days off. Thank you for giving us that time. Betty Rock came in. I'm like, hey, girl, how did you have a good weekend? And she was like, it was great. It was. And she did a lot of stuff and had fun. Yeah. It was so much fun. I got to hang out with my parents.

0:01.6

I got to hang out with friends from the past and friends for the recent. Brought in a bag full of jeans to try on. Yeah. I went shopping with my mom. And we have no idea how they look. I might have to do the, I might have to do the fashion show tomorrow. Yeah, yeah. We're running out of time today. It's a great bag, by the way. Thank you. My parents got it for me. Oh, wow.

0:37.6

I finished a puzzle. No, really? Are you still using that puzzle table that Gavin got you? That's a great, yeah, that's a great gift. When you're, when a puzzle is not complete, like in, if you're in the middle, where does it go? Does it stay on the table? Yeah, it stays on the table. But I have like a poster board

0:39.1

that you buy like at any craft shop and I just put that on top. So I could see the cats won't buy. I could see the boys being like, I take one off. How long do you keep a puzzle in fully built until you get rid of it? Because you always sell your puzzles. Oh, I will build it. I will complete it. I will take a picture. Send it to my parents. So they can put it on the fridge. And then I'll tear it up and I'll list it. Like instantly? Yeah. And I'll list it. See, like I go, I can't even imagine like spending all this time that I did to build my Lego car, like my F1 car, and then I hung it on my wall right in front of my desk so I get to enjoy it.

1:34.3

I could not imagine doing puzzles for the length of time that it would take and then to just take it apart.

1:40.7

I think the goal isn't for me to see the finished product.

1:45.3

I just enjoy the process.

1:51.8

Okay. And so once the process is done, then it's not special to you anymore. That is fascinating to me. Like I love the process of building Lego, but I want to have something at the end to show for it kind of thing.

1:57.5

And so for you, it's just about the act of actually doing it. Like when I build,

2:02.5

not the destination. Like when I build something, I will finish building it. Like, say, like,

2:07.3

I'm working on a coffee table for my daughter right now. And when I'm fully finished with it,

2:12.1

I'll just sit there and stare at it. Like, and I'll go through all the stuff that, all the things

2:17.4

that I went through to build it and the

2:18.9

particular problems that I had to overcome to make it, you know? Shed a little tear, wipe it away.

2:24.7

I do. And then I know she won't appreciate it the amount of time that I put into it. Well, it collected

2:30.0

dust. I used it to stand on something the other day. I spent like on Saturday I did a little bit of work on it like just to start the process.

2:39.0

Well I wouldn't bought on Facebook marketplace a pallet, an old school like vintage pallet.

2:45.0

So you did find one and it was close by?

2:47.0

Yeah, it was in Franklin of all places.

2:49.0

And you drove all the way to Chattanooga. I know and there, and they weren't there. So I end up in Franklin at this really nice couple's house. They were so sweet. Turns out they worked in the Christian music industry and stuff for years. And really, I mean, just a great experience. Got it home, started, like, fixing some things on it because I knew there were things I needed to like tweak on it.

3:08.0

And so I did a little bit then.
