Welcome to The Wally Show Aftercast, all the stuff that we didn't get to during the course of the show today.

We survived Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse.

We went through it differently. Gavin just avoided it.

He went to Louisiana and missed it.

My wife is in Florida at Disney, missing it.

And Betty and I went through it, and I came through it unscathed. Betty had a little bit of an issue. Yeah. So I live in like an apartment building type situation, and my power was fine. But at one point, it did start flickering. And I was kind of playing with the idea of making supper by then. And then I was like, oh, I better go hurry up. Do it now. now yeah so I did that uh my water did shut off at one point do you know why no because you dripped a faucet yeah I dripped a faucet but I guess maybe a water main break I don't I don't really know did your apartment email you saying oh no interesting no but it woke me up in the middle of the night because

i had accidentally just left the faucet on full blast in the kitchen and when it came on in the

middle of the night i was dead asleep oh yeah it sounded like it was coming through the ceiling and so

i like a run and i'm like oh thank goodness it wasn't it wasn't something worse you know

because you worry about that but anyways yeah I saw some of my neighbors trying to get out they

were slipping and sliding it you could hear the sleet coming down oh yeah I could hear tree branches

cracking and then especially when there was wind that was going through and there's a tree tree that's right beside my car. I was like, oh, boy, here we go. I'm getting a new one. Take out Jubal, Lord. Here we go. Need the insurance. But, I mean, I stayed warm and I didn't go anywhere. I did have a lot of people reach out and check on me, which was nice. But a lot of people that were surprised that I stayed at my place.

Oh, why?

Alone.

Oh.

Like as opposed to go into your parents house? My parents or a friend's house. But, you know, I got the boys and what do I do with them? And it's like if my, they were like, well, what if your power goes out? Like, well, I got blankets. Yeah. I'll just bundle up, read a book or something like.

Hybernate.

Like it's a Tuesday.

Yeah.

But I do have friends that they don't like to be alone. And so they go and they bundle up together. Yeah, I, I would, the alone time with my wife being gone, it was like, oh, survival. I love it. Like COVID, I loved going out and shopping during COVID I was

worried that you were gonna be because I know how you are when Gavin or I leave the

studio and you have to be alone for maybe five minutes yeah you start getting
