Welcome to the Wally Show Aftercast, those things we didn't get to during the course of the show today.

I do have an update on that story we did yesterday about the mom who was being sentenced for having her kid have access to the gun.

The six-year-old. Yeah, the six- six year old that shot his teacher. They

actually are they moved forward that she got 21 months in prison on federal

charges and again they got her on the marijuana

while owning a gun and making a false statement about that and so those are

both felonies because they do take that stuff seriously but she gets 21 months she

could have gotten 25 years yeah so she came out ahead of this but if you're

thinking well that's a little harsh she's a single mom she's just doing her best well

two weeks before the classroom shooting her firearm was involved in another

separate shooting well yes it is so apparently there was a U-Haul truck and she found her husband there with her ex-husband, the son's father, with his his girlfriend and one thing led to another and

she tried to shoot him and shot out the window. Oh okay. So this is a situation

where you're like this kid is growing up in chaos. No wonder he's

doing this. He's learning from his mom that this is the way you solve your

problems. I mean it's so sad broken adults break children man. This seems like

another instance where 21 months just doesn't seem I don't know totally long

enough. No no this kind of situation. There's no There's no lesson that's going to be learned here. I have a feeling. Sadly so, but anyway. This is kind of an interesting thought for me personally that I had on the way into work today, unrelated to that story, but you

guys know that my best friend Greg, Gregor Bears, and his wife moved to Salt Lake City.

Yeah, do you miss him?

I do actually, very much so.

Well, yeah, we used to do so much stuff together.

We were a big part of each other's lives.
