| 0:17.9 | Ethan came home and his hair was noticeably messed up. |
| 0:20.5 | Like you're like, |
| 0:21.4 | I cannot believe as parents you were asking these kind of questions. But I think as a teacher, |
| 0:28.9 | I would love to hear questions from kids. Because kids, that's why we do that bit. Are you |
| 0:34.0 | kidding me on the show? Because kids ask the craziest things. And they're just curious. They just want to know things. And you can't get frustrated with them because they're just honest all the time. And so Betty Lou, you came across something like this, right? Yeah, but I wouldn't say they're cute. I would say that they're some of the funniest, dumbest things that students have said. And these are from teachers. Nice. So it's coming from the horse's mouth. So I think I've told this story, but I remember once in 11th grade when the World Trade Centers got hit, our principal came in and told us. And there was a girl in my class named Claire. And she raised her hand. And she she said are the world trade center is important |
| 1:11.8 | and I remember David behind her said Claire if the word world is in the title then it's |
| 1:18.3 | important oh that's funny and that's what I remember about the world trade center but these |
| 1:24.3 | might be a good tie for how ridiculous. |
| 1:35.2 | First one is a teacher claims that her student turned in a paper that the student claimed she had written. |
| 1:39.2 | However, the teacher was able to see that she had not written this paper. So she confronted her. |
| 1:41.3 | And the student said and told her, it's mine because I paid my own money to have it |
| 1:46.4 | written. Oh my goodness. So you told on yourself. Yeah. And you're you're not smart enough to |
| 1:52.2 | realize that that's an admission of guilt. Right. But like somehow in your weird world, |
| 1:56.5 | because you paid for it, then it's yours you and I think this is a weird thing where kids |
| 2:01.7 | I might honestly believe that like because they're not used to having to do things you know |
| 2:06.1 | a lot of times like well I bought it so it's mine just like if I bought shoes they're mine yeah |
| 2:10.5 | and so I don't have to do this stupid work that you want me to do yeah you don't have to work |
| 2:14.2 | hard at it that's bizarre um another one said that that she said she had a student come to her and said, how long is next |
