Welcome to the Wally Show Aftercast, the stuff we didn't get to during the course of the show today.

Yeah, I had this pulled for news actually and then something else came up and I ended up doing a different story for news on the regular show and the podcast and maybe for the better.

Well, more just statementy on where we're at. Okay, so

Pastor John MacArthur, he recently praised a US Navy veteran who was facing

criminal charges because he toppled the

satanic altar near the a nativity scene in the Iowa State

capital last December.

Wow. Okay, so there was a big thing.

Yeah, there was a big thing where, you know satanic church you know they're making a point

if you're gonna have a nativity scene then we want to have equal representation

blah blah blah blah and blah and in a society where you have multiple different

viewpoints religions everything and you're a democracy you kind of have to give space to all of that

but then there are lines that you're like, wait a minute, why are we doing this?

Like you wouldn't, you know, because Satanism stands for a lot of really bad things, you know, and so it's like, do we have to give that space too you know but apparently

we do and they did and so Michael Cassidy was charged with a felony mischief and

here's where it escalated though they originally

they were going to charge him with just you know criminal mischief a misdemeanor

but they actually ended up giving him felony mischief and a hate crime for pushing over that.

Once you get the term hate crime into your charge, life gets a lot worse and a lot more expensive like trying to defend that and go against that it's a pain and so basically

it was a statue of a red cloaked buffalmet statue.
