Welcome to The Wally Show Aftercast, some of the stuff we didn't get to during the course of the show today. And today is actually a couple things that Gavin and I did not get to share during the regular show. Oh, yeah. If you have, you know, listen to the regular podcast from the show, you would have heard a couple examples that Betty Rock gave because I went to her first. And then we had calls and we just didn't get to ours. So I want to talk about a couple things from the show, one of those being the anti-resolution, the thing you're not going to do.

Betty Rock was not going to not watch TV still.

So she's staying committed to reading more, watching less TV.

I was going to say, but though, if you break that down, when you say I'm going to watch less

TV, does that mean that you're putting like a cap on your daily consumption or is it

something you're like, in general, I'm just going to hope I don't watch more TV?

I watch TV every day.

I do too. That's like our pattern. Like I come home from work. I do my stuff. Like if I eat lunch, I'll eat lunch while I'm working and then I'll kind of watch TikToks as I do both. and then my wife and I, when I'm done working,

and then like after dinner,

we always sit down and watch TV.

Like we have our shows we go through or we find new shows. Like that's a thing every day. I somehow my wife found time to read 53 books this year, which is shocking. How? How? You tell me. I know. And one of those books was 600 pages she told me. I would say this. I read 41. Did you really? Last year. And you have a full-time job. Most of my books are between 8 and 1,200 pages, too. Holy cow. You read pretty fast. I do a lot of audible, which, you know, like that. Maybe that doesn't count per se. No, I'll count that. So, Audible,

Kindle, and physical books. Like,

and the Bible. I know people say, well, you didn't read it, you

listen to it. Well, some of us don't read good. Some of us have

some of us also have jobs. And like you said, a kid.

Yeah. Like my own, my time is in the car every day. I don't have other time. Yeah. I would, I would, I mean, it's interesting to see if I could do a book on Audible in the car. Okay. Because my longest drive is 20 minutes, you know, basically. That's 40 minutes a day. But in that time, though, like a lot of times when we, when I'm coming to work,

I have just complete silence.

I'm thinking about work.

I'm thinking about what we need to do and anything I need to add in.
