All the stuff we did not get to during the course of the show today.

We're going to revisit something from yesterday that seems to have kind of grown a little bit.

It was the Forrest Frank thing where he got upset with a couple of the artists like Matthew West and Corey Asbury who were doing songs from their bed, kind of like he did when he heard his back. And they were poking fun at it, having fun with it. I would say they were having fun with it. I don't think they, no, none of their songs ever made fun of chorus, forest, you know, like they weren't mocking him. Like, oh, you broke your back. It's so bad. It's like they were just kind of

poking fun at writing a song while you're injured, you know, kind of thing. And so, like I had

Tyler, the executive music guy from South Carolina even weigh in on this. The bane of Gavin's

existence. This guy sends me all this audio. And he's always ahead of Gavin, and Gavin hates it.

But he says, hey, y'all talk about Forrest Frank's video. It started off with important disagreement with

today's aftercast, because he was upset with me for what I said. He said, maybe it's just the

nine in me, which you can understand on the N-Agram, Betty Rock.

But I don't think and didn't see it as for us being upset or mad at anything.

From what I gather, he feels like the whole point was he kids see the content.

And it made all the other artists lighthearted jokes feel like they were making fun of him and so making fun of people

hurts them you know and so he kind of used the kids as the scapegoat for that like here was a little

bit of his statement that uh forrest made man this is super tough i know y'all are going to be like for us you're way too sensitive but this is super tough. I know y'all are gonna be like, Forrest, you're way too sensitive.

But this is like the 10th or even the 20th post I have seen from another Christian artist making fun of probably the most traumatic moment of my life, my wife's life.

And I know that God has brought a lot of blessing from it, and maybe that's why y'all think it's cool to, like, now make fun of it. These are people that I've never spoken to. I've never interacted with them. And for some reason, my algorithm sends it directly to me. I can totally understand the fact you guys are just having fun. You're not, you're probably not even really thinking that I'm going to see it. I'll just say this. To everybody who's making these videos, not telling you to stop, but this raises a really interesting conversation with social media because there's no seat belt on a social media. I know there's a lot of kids that are watching this. You know, when you're in junior high and you're in high school, you're going to get made fun of a lot. See, when you make it about the kids and not about you, it gives you like the ammunition to be the moral authority. You're like, oh, it's not, guys, that's not about me. I'm fun. I'm the fun guy. Look at me. I'm fighting songs about jet skis, you know. But this is about the kids. I'm not hurt. It's about the kids. I don't believe that. I think he was legit, like, heard. I think it hurt him, honestly. I would much rather him own that and go, yeah, you hurt my feelings. All right, I can deal with that as a man. Hey, sorry about that. I't mean to. Well, maybe he wasn't. Maybe. I know, but I mean, that's the nine in you as well. You know, it must be hard to never have an actual opinion. Right? It really is. Well, you have enough opinions for anybody and everybody. Tyler goes on to say, so I think you all were wrong. He's not upset and doesn't want an apology.

I think it was more, you know, of not to take anything down, but just make sure you're aware of who's consuming your content.

And I wrote Tyler back. I said, I disagree with you.

But I like you.

Like Tyler and I can disagree. I can disagree with people and it's fine. You don't have to see things the way I see it. You know, you are. Are you sure? Yes. You are completely within your rights to be wrong. 100%. There it is. There it is. No, like I appreciate like this guy, Tyler. I appreciate what he sends to me for the show, and I appreciate his perspective. I just don't share it, just like he doesn't share mine. Yeah. And it's okay. Same thing with, that's the thing about humor. Humor is so subjective. And so, yeah, if Forrest doesn't get the fact that people aren't making fun of him, he doesn't get it. And he never will because you don't share the same sense of humor. I don't see me, I don't think I would ever hang out with Forrest at church. I don't think we would be church friends, like going out after church, because I would say things that I'm sure he'd be like, oh, that's not funny. You know, that's, that, I could hurt someone. And, you know, and I'm hurt for them. No, I'm just kidding. But, like, we have a different sense of humor, it feels like. And from literally the tiny, tiny interaction I've had with him, I don't know that we have the same sense of humor. And so I would not see it going well. No, I couldn't either.
