0:11.0	They help us to realize that every good thing begins with God.

0:46.3	It brings you to truth and it emphasizes certain things.
0:50.3	And David, who is known as a psalmist, was quite a preacher. In fact, in Psalm 40 in verse 9, he says,
0:57.6	I have preached righteousness in the great congregation. Lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.
1:06.3	I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart. I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation.
1:11.8	I have not concealed thy loving kindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
1:16.6	That's quite a statement. And by the way, for every person who preaches or teaches the Bible,
1:21.1	that's a challenge. Don't hold back God's truth. They need the whole counsel of God,
1:25.9	give them God's word. He uses that little phrase,
1:29.0	the great congregation. Of course, it's a reference to Israel, but I don't think the emphasis here is
1:33.7	that they were great in number, though they were. But the greatness here is the greatness of their
1:39.1	need. And the greatness of any congregation is not its size, but the great spiritual needs that are present there.
1:46.2	So David said, I've given them the truth.
1:49.2	I have preached.
1:50.4	But then this is interesting to me.
