0:48.2	Glad to be here, Kyle. All right. So here's our big question. And it is a big one. Why trust the
0:53.7	New Testament? Why should we trust the New Testament? That's too big. It's our big question. And it is a big one. Why trust the New Testament? Why should we trust
0:55.4	the New Testament? That's too big. We could give lots of different answers to that.
1:02.5	There are theological answers we could give. I'm just going to pick one angle you could take,
1:07.2	okay? I think one really good reason to trust the New Testament is because Jesus
1:12.8	actually rose from the dead. That's it. Let's close in prayer. That's a good one. He said short.
1:21.2	Now, I'll tease it out just a little bit, okay? Because again, you could take different angles on this.
1:26.2	But what do I mean by, why would I tie it to the resurrection?
1:29.7	Because the New Testament is essentially written by Jesus' followers, the apostles, okay?
1:34.6	And their close associates.
1:36.3	It's not written by Jesus directly.
1:38.0	There's no, you know, there's no book that he claims to be the author of.
