| 0:48.4 | Childs my pleasure to be here. Thanks for having me. So here's the big question. What is natural moral law and what does it have to do with |
| 0:55.8 | Genesis? Excellent question. Well as I see it a biblical conception of natural |

| 1:03.4 | entails at least the following two commitments. |
| 1:06.3 | So the first commitment would be something like this, |
| 1:09.2 | that God has built into the natural created order a moral dimension. |
| 1:16.3 | So just as you might think a piece of wood |
| 1:19.1 | has a sort of natural grain to it, |
| 1:21.7 | that so to the moral realm has a natural grain to it that's grounded in |
| 1:26.9 | God's creational intentional purposes. So that would be the first tenant which |
| 1:31.8 | I'll impact here in a second and then the second thing would be the first tenant, which I'll impact here in a second. |
| 1:33.0 | And then the second thing would be that God has so created human beings |
